The Glen Eden Kebab business was officially established in December 2017 under BANGASH HAZARA LIMITED. The first restaurant opened in Glen Eden, Auckland, bringing authentic Turkish-style kebabs and fast food to the local community. In 2021, the company expanded further through BYK Holdings Limited, strengthening Glen Eden Kebab’s operations and growth in Auckland. And also Open GEK Branch in Parachinar Pakistan.
In 2023, GLEN EDEN KEBABS NZ FRANCHISOR LIMITED was registered, showing the brand’s move toward franchising and wider expansion across New Zealand. By 2024, Glen Eden Kebab expanded beyond the original Glen Eden branch and launched another branch in Glenfield Mall, Auckland. The company also registered GLEN EDEN KEBABS IP LIMITED to strengthen and protect the growing brand identity.
In 2026, The business is focusing on long-term brand growth, franchising opportunities, and strengthening its presence in both New Zealand and Pakistan and serving thousands of customers while maintaining its community support initiatives through free meal programs led by Zuhaib Abbas Bangash and TOHFA.
