Story of Glen Eden Kebab
One Pakistani who spent the night sleeping on the streets of Auckland opened a restaurant that provides jobs for unemployed Pakistanis. He recalls the hardships he endured and the days when he was jobless, and plans to help every man like himself. As a result, he started feeding the poor and hungry in his restaurant. He received severe opposition from local restaurant owners but he did not give up. Mr. Bangash now spends over a thousand dollars a week feeding the hungry people in his restaurant.

Beyond great food, Glen Eden Kebab, an Auckland icon, is known for Zuhaib Abbas Bangash’s generous leadership. Through his NGO, TOHFA, they provide free meals to those in need, making the restaurant not just a tasty spot but also a caring contributor to the community’s welfare.
